Our research focuses on the electronic structure of two-dimensional materials and topological materials both in equilibrium and the ultrafast dynamics far away from equilibrium. The goal is to reveal the fundamental physics behind intriguing phenomena and provide insights for manipulating the materials.

  To achieve this, we develop and apply various spectroscopic tools, including angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy, ultrafast time- and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy and ultrafast time-resolved optical spectroscopy.
